Yet despite the name, American Vintage is actually a French clothing label. The tee shirt label was founded in 2005 in the South of France, and has slowly made its way around the world to the land of its namesake, America. Though American Vintage is still not widely distributed in the United States, we at Heist have fallen in love with the label’s easy to wear basics and are proud to carry a great selection of their tops.
The American Vintage collection embodies the feeling of freedom, simplicity and femininity. Soft, draping fabrics fall gently against the body to create beautiful and flattering silhouettes, which explains the brand’s popularity among the stylish set.
